Create and inspect a recovery point

Use /backup create type:full or a documented selective type. Retain the returned backup ID and inspect /backup info id:<backup-id> before relying on it.

Review the restore target and options

Use /backup restore id:<backup-id> only with server owner or Administrator authority. On the direct restore path, omitted prune means true and can remove roles and channels absent from the backup. wipe:true deletes existing resources first. Explicitly review messages, bans, prune, wipe, and target_guild.

Inspect the actual outcome

Read the final restore response and inspect the target server. A lost response can follow changes; stop and ask staff to inspect the existing operation before submitting another restore.
