Read the account before spending
Run /balance for yourself, or /balance user:<member> to inspect another member. Read Wallet, Bank, and Withdraw Today together. Viewing yourself can create your account; another member is looked up without creating one, and a missing record displays zero balances. A zero result does not prove that member already has a profile. Accounts are global by default; an installation can use server accounts instead. Ask staff which scope applies before treating balances in different servers as separate funds. The leaderboard identifies global scope when it applies.
