Review the crystal and refinement risk
Provide both item and crystal, using exact IDs when possible. The item must be owned equippable gear, the crystal must have the refine_crystal tag and be owned, and the selected highest-refinement variant must be below +10. One crystal is consumed for the attempt, including a failed roll; failure leaves the refinement unchanged. Refinement shows Success or Failed, the old and new refinement, and Chance. A success also updates a matching equipped refinement. Inspect /inventory and /stats after uncertainty before consuming another crystal; the item state is saved before its later transaction record.
